TeaMSci UGA
The Teaching in Marine Science (TeaMSci) Lab at the University of Georgia brings together people who share a passion for education.
Led by Dr. Austin Heil, our team studies how people teach and learn science. We use local marine organisms and emerging coastal challenges to create relevant, hands-on learning experiences. Our work takes place in classrooms, laboratories, field sites, and aquariums and serves college students, K–12 students and teachers, and the broader community.
